Here's another that, like yesterday's, just doesn't seem like a haiku to me. Sure it focuses on a single, 'aha' kind of moment. But it takes that moment and turns it into an abstract thought. It's one of those short poems that sometimes grow out of haiku moments in place of a haiku -- like a
brown-headed cowbird chick that grows up in a robin's nest.
eye to eye
the wren's
everything
and mine
overlap
for a flash
Could this moment have turned into a haiku as well? I bet it could've. Maybe that's my mission for tomorrow's post...
